ABOUT THE SAN RAFAEL FIRE DEPARTMENT

Celebrating 150 Years of Service

From 1874, our department has provided safe, reliable, and consistent service the community of San Rafael. With humble beginnings as a 45-person volunteer fire department with a hand pulled hose cart, our department now boasts 7 stations with state of the art equipment and modern facilities.
